Born April 15th, 1452, in Vinci, Italy. His “last name” Di Vinci means “from Vinci” in Italian. He was born from Messer Piero and Caterina(Last name not known), Leonardo was born illegitimately, which means his parents were not married. He lived his first five years of life in Anchiano with his mother, then moved to Vinci to live with his Uncle, Francesco. He never lived with his father, for his father was a noble(rich general) , and had a family of his own without Leonardo and his mother.
Leonardo was probed to incorporate his figures and paintings together by painting and drwawing the cartoon of Burlington house which was placed in National gallery in 1498. Later in 2008, a curator found and claimed some blurred sketches and drwaings to have been made by the famous Leonardo da Vinci because there was a skillset of his art and concept residing in that pictures.
