The Renaissance lasted from the 14th to the 17th century. The word Renaissance comes from a French word that means re birth. The printing press was invented and art was becoming very popular. Leonardo Da Vinci was an engineer from the Renaissance whose many accomplishments impacted the world and reflected the values of the Renaissance.
