Les Liaisons Dangereuses is a play based on the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont, who are rivals who use sex as a weapon. The two set their sights on a married woman and a very young girl who is already in love with her music teacher. The main story follows the character’s attempts to gain other character’s trust for their own ulterior motives, which sickeningly seem to go according to plan for the most part.
Les Liaisons Dangereuses is currently running on Broadway after an initial out of town run in London. As of now, it is at the Booth Theatre, a well known theatre that is a part of the Shubert Organization and has housed many successful revivals, such a The Elephant Man, The Glass Menagerie, and Hughie. The show had an initial showing out of town. They have worked on a multitude of different productions, mostly on Broadway, including shows such as Hedwig and the Angry Inch, An American in Paris, and the revival of Of Mice and Men. The production supervisor is Aurora Productions. Aurora Productions is the also the production manager. Aurora Productions was unfortunately unavailable to help us at this time and we were unable to get an actual tour or any information from those working on this production. Aurora Productions has an extensive line of credits, further boasted by their multitude of credits even at this time. Currently, they are working on ten different Broadway shows and tours, including An Act of God, Cats, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, and The Cherry Orchard.
