“Let her go” is an emotional song which covers the reality of human life. This song is written for those people who lost their beloved ones in their life. Someone said “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.” It means when we have someone in our life we never give importance to that person. The absence of beloved person made us feel how important they were in our life. the line “Only know you love her when let her go” of the song explains the entire song. When we love someone and they are gone from our lives, for whatever reason, we feel emptiness and sadness and the last we realize how much that person meant to us.
In the first verse, “Well you it’s only need the light when burning low” here the light symbolizes the presence of our beloved person by which we can understand that we never think about our beloved person unless we feel the importance of having them. In the second line, the lyricist has mentioned the name of four seasons and winter is one of them. In reality when our beloved people leave us, we feel the same sadness of missing them from the beginning and the rest in our life. In the next line “cause love comes slow and it goes so fast” here love is the sign of happiness and it is so hard to find the happiness but we lose it very easily. “Well you see her when you fall asleep, but never to touch never to keep” remind us the person left us forever, but still they are in our mind but we cannot touch them. It also shows that although we feel guilty, but in reality whatever or whoever goes it never comes back.
