I am pleased to submit this letter of recommendation for Miss Leah Clements. I have the pleasure of knowing Leah for approximately ten years. During this time, I have witnessed the strength of Leah’s character, her poise under stress and her passion for causes of her heart. Leah has an impressive list of philanthropic accomplishments which include support of organizations such as Success 1st, Garden State Rotary, Susan G. Komen, and the Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) to new a few. Leah has proven herself to be an intelligent, responsible and poised young woman. My knowledge of Leah’s character, personal challenges and accomplishments is broad. In additional to being a longtime friend of her family, I interact regularly with Leah as we worship at the same congregation where she is an active member of the youth group, performs in theatrical productions and regularly assists with young children’s ministry. I also served as a mentor in her sixth year as Youth Leadership Council member with 501c3 organization Success 1st, and her 4th year as a competitor in ACT-SO. That …show more content…

While delivering the topic she personally developed “How to Be a Friend’, Leah passionately and eloquently encouraged teen girls to respect themselves and others. In the post-presentation survey of the session Leah facilitated rated 4.85 out of a possible 5 from the peer audience members and 100% of those surveyed would recommended. Leah has earned numerous awards recognizing her talent in photography. I applaud Leah’s use her various talents speaking, writing, planning and photography to capture human emotions and to champion social causes.
