To become a part of this sorority you need to meet the membership requirements. Women may join as undergraduate chapters at a college or university, or through an alumnae chapter after receiving a college degree. There are over 940 chapters over the world, and I’m interested in the Delta
The integrity of Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Incorporated is to be upheld by Active Members, Alumnae members, Associate members, current potential new members and former potential new members. If Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Incorporated’s practices are learned by those who aren’t a part of it, it will be subjected to scrutiny and ridicule. People who are not a part of Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Incorporated do not understand the meaning behind each act and might condemn it. The sorority also then falls victim to any other organizations who might possibly try to slow down, or even worse, shut down Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Incorporated’s rush, process and Sisterhood. The purpose of these other organizations doing so lies within their own self- interest.
It is my desire to become a member of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc., to once again have the brotherhood and comradery that I was able to experience while in the Army. Promoting the values, lesson and knowledge I attained during my military service as wells as those set forth in Kappa Lambda Chi’s mission, is something I encourage when mentoring children on daily basis in my job as a school resource officer. My current position allows me to interact with people from all walks of life, providing me with an avenue to inspire those around me. Becoming a member of Kappa Lambda Chi enables me to further my personal knowledge, while being another avenue for me to impart wisdom, promote fidelity and encourage high ambition to today’s youth
I am writing this letter to express my interest in your illustrious organization, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I am currently a senior majoring in Criminal Justice, minoring in African American Studies with aspirations of becoming a Social Justice Attorney. Born in the inner city of New York and being raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, I am not your typical Southern Belle or City girl. I like to think of myself as being a fine mix of the two. At a young age my mother groomed me into what she believed a well-rounded lady should be.
So, when I did my research and saw that community service played a big part of the sorority; I knew that this would be the perfect sorority for me because I love giving back to my community and helping other people. What I hope to gain from membership is to grow more as a person. I am a shy person and I don’t talk a lot.
I am writing this recommendation letter at the request of Samantha Mercado who is applying for the Resident Assistant position. I was lucky enough to have Samantha as a resident and suitemate this year in Stuyvesant Hall. Over the past semester, I am proud to say that I have seen Samantha grow as a student and find her place at Hofstra University. Samantha is one of the most focused and driven individuals I have ever met.
Reflecting on my reasoning on why I wanted to become a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated I knew that I had to speak on all of the women who have instilled some type of morals and values that A Delta woman holds. It was the way they walked, talked, and cared for me like their own and their ability to be selfless. Seeing the way these women have made others and myself feel was convincing enough for me to be sold on my decision to take this path. Sisterhood is key within the women of Delta Sigma Theta. I intentionally surround myself with women of good character.
I strongly believe that becoming a physician mean a moral duty to help people who are less fortunate. As an undergraduate, my goal is to gain as much experience as possible in a clinical environment to prepare myself for the real world. Describe what makes you a good candidate for Phi Delta Epsilon- MA Alpha Chapter. * I hope my genuine interest in personal development and desire to uphold humanitarianism can be seen throughout this application
To the Brothers of the Phi Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated First I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this letter. My purpose in writing this letter is to express my desired interest in joining the Phi Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Growing up being bullied and constantly picked on with no one to protect me in my time of need and having no one to reciprocate that same sense of protection and love left me left a big void in my life.
“Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave. I rise, I rise, I rise.,” to become a Delta Woman. When asked to express why I should be awarded the honor & pleasure of being apart this great sorority; I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed but also very humbled. However, I am reminded of the great women Delta Sigma Theta has helped mold some of the most influential women in the world. I want to be apart of the most illustrious sorority organization.
Dear The University of Oklahoma Admissions and Recruitment: As her former teacher at Jenks High School, I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Annika Alfaro. I have had the pleasure of viewing Ms. Alfaro’s tremendous personal and academic growth throughout the school year. As instructor of her Advanced Placement English and Composition class, I have witnessed no less than optimum effort in her scholastic studies. Her intelligence, diligence and honesty has exceeded many in her class and I am confident that she will uphold the honorable traditions at your distinguished University.
Slide 28: One of the primary characteristics of Greek-letter organizations for women is an emphasis on scholarship. When there were very few women in higher education, support for these groups was
To the women of the grad chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated: The purpose of this letter is to inform you of my interest in becoming a member of the grad chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated. My desire to inspire young men and women and make a significant impact on their lives is just one of many reasons I aspire to join your great sorority. While growing up at a young age my mom worked out of my sibling lives. I did not have many positive female role models I could look to for guidance in different situations.
It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. Through my relentless hard work and perseverance, I believe that I possess the four characteristics of a National Honor Society member- leadership, service, character, and scholarship.
