Triple A gaming, games made by bigshot companies like Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo, is starting to become a dying part of the video game industry due to the inherent greed of some of the biggest and used to be best developers. With this problem, there are many solutions that could be used to fix the problems like: simply letting them die out as a whole, the companies getting back to their roots, letting pay to win and gambling, as well as microtransactions as a whole, and leaving the industry.These are just some of the many, but important ways to help get triple A gaming back to making good, controversy free games. This strategy used by the aforementioned big companies has taken away from the gaming market and hurt the reputation of videogames as a whole. This strategy has taken away many great aspects from upcoming titles like Star Wars BattleFront 2, Destiny 2, Shadow of War, and Assassins Creed Origins. By instead of you advancing through the game normally they allow you to buy more aspects of the game. One example of this is in games like Deus Ex, where you can buy all the abilities that you would get later in the game and hurting the pacing and progression of the game. Over all, this pay for progression has also hurt games by allowing companies to put stuff like “the true ending” behind $10.99 walls. With microtransactions comes systems like the ones used in Rocket League and Counter Strike Global Offensive with loot crates. The problems faced in this strategy is gambling within the games community, this problem is not as apparent in Rocket League, but in CS:Go there have been some extreme problems, like the Sindecut Project and TMartn controversy with CS:Go trading websites. If Triple A companies let this fad die out then games as a whole could benefit from it all and return Triple A gaming to a better position in the mainstream
