The movie Humpday, is about two men who get pulled into a dare to make a gay pornographic film together. The movie explores levels of bromance between the two male characters, Ben and Andrew, along with trust and communication levels between Ben, and his wife Anna. With a focus on a LGBT pornographic theme, Humpday covers subjects related to the course such as; sexual explicit materials, sexuality in adulthood, introduction into the LGBT community, along with love and communication in intimate relationships. During the beginning of the film, Anna shows that she has a lot of trust in her husband Ben. When Andrew showed up announced, Ben claimed he had no idea his old time friend was coming, in which Anna responded, “I kind of assumed you would have told me if you had a friend who would’ve showed up”. Ben often calls Anna and tells her his whereabouts, and what he is planning on doing. Andrew introduces Ben to his new friends Monica and Lily, who are in a romantic relationship together. However, due to Ben’s urge to complete this project with Andrew, he lied to Anna about the film and his positions for it. Anna has also been keeping a secret from Ben for years.
