Introduced in the early 1990s, the Lexus GS was originally a rear-wheel drive only model with an all-wheel drive option added beginning in 2006. Starting in 2016, a high-performance variant known as the Lexus GS F was released, joining the Lexus RC F as the two performance models offered by Toyota’s luxury brand.

The GS F shares much with the other two GS models — GS 200t and GS 350 — but there are some important distinctions. The high-performance version maintains the sedan’s elegant look while benefiting from several touches that give it a more aggressive appearance.
All GS F models feature a bold front fascia marked by a mesh grille along with race-inspired functional air inlets, and a low-to-the-ground wide stance.
