Usefulness The usefulness of this source is that it clearly explains the background of Liberia and how it started and the source also goes into depth about the different ethnic groups in Liberia and why and how they were formed. Purpose The purpose of this source is to make one understand what exactly led to the Liberian Civil War and the source goes into depth about explaining why sexualised violence is used as a war tool because Liberian women went through hell because of sexualised violence. Validity This source is valid, in connection with the fact that it clearly highlights the background of Liberia but it does not really go into detail about where the women came into the equation and it the source went around in circles before getting to the point.
