In the short story Harrison Bergeron, equality forces in American society. The characters Harrison and George are both handicapped by the Government to be equal with society. Harrison is taken away from his mother Hazel and father, George because he is against being handicapped to be equal. George believes it has made the world a better place than it was before. Although, George is above average I look up to him because I'm similar to him along with his intelligence, beliefs in equality, and support for the laws.

As settlers moved to the Plains, conflict between the settlers and the Plains Indians arose. This, in turn, led to a lost of culture of the Plains Indians. Although new technology came to the West and the government enforced treaties, in the Plains Indians best interest, however, it actually was the very force that caused dissimulation within the Plains Indians’ community. Governmental actions such as setting up reservations and the Dawes Act worked in the new settlers best interest.
The 18thcentury was a time of changes in America. By the ending decades of the 18th century the independence of the United States of America from the British Crown happened. Their lands keep being taken, their economy and homes attacked, difficult times for the Native people in the Northwest.
Even though Native American involvement during the Revolutionary War is often overlooked. they played a significant role. Not only did the war determine which direction in history America would take, but it also progressed the downfall of the Native Americans. They lost land and freedoms while America gained it. Both sides in the war wanted the Native Americans to stay neutral, however most Native Americans sided with the English during the American Revolution.
After the Spanish made some fortunate discoveries in South America, the English were determined to strike gold in the north, however, they would soon find out that this “new country” was not so perfect. In the Spring of 1607, about 100 colonists sailed to North America and created an English settlement called Jamestown (Roden 49). Upon their arrival, they discovered that Jamestown was home to some 1500 Powhatan Indians, and, because the colonists didn’t bring the right people to defend themselves from Indian attacks, many people died (Roden 49). The colonist also didn’t bring enough people to ward off disease, drought, or famine.
It is evident that The Declaration document did not have a direct positive impact to the black struggle for justice, as it did not mention anything about slaves being entitled to those rights. However, The Declaration of Independence was an inspirational document for slave rebellions. For example, one of the first rebellions was organized in 1800 by a blacksmith Gabriel Prosser and a slave preacher Martin Prosser. Prosser brothers opposed slavery using the language of the Declaration of Independence citing the natural rights of men. (history.com, 2009)
From colonial times until the end of the Indian Wars in 1890, the people in America went through a series of unfair and unfortunate events. Mainly for the Indians which are also called the first peoples. These events could have been handled with much more consideration for the Indians. There are many times when the Americans went too far including the Removal Act of 1830, the Reservation System, and the Act for the Government and Protection of Indians.
Summary The book "This war is for a whole life" talks about the existence of conflicts between the American - Indian freedom. It shows that the conflict resulted from the cold war that existed between two races that had differing interest on the tenable basis. What brought them to unite was a fact that they all decided together and even fight for the equality of all people. In addition to this, their risks and the dangers of carrying out the civilization of the Indians were still in suspense.
The American revolution was all about freedom and liberty. Characters throughout the story voice different opinions on their idea of freedom and liberty. During this fight for freedom and liberty, there were three main groups. Patriots(colonist against the king), Loyalists(colonist for the king), and the slaves. They all describe freedom and liberty in different ways.
