F. Scott Fitzgerald had a hard time naming his novel “The Great Gatsby”.Truly a story about lust and lies therefore the title should have been “Lustful Lies”. “she never loved you do you hear me” pg.130. This was what Gatsby said to Tom and Tom freaked out after this. Then Tom kept insulting Gatsby because he didnt want to lose Daisy. Gatsby is in love with Daisy, so Tom is afraid that daisy loves him back. “and what more I love Daisy too” pg.131. Said Gatsby who wanted to go home with Daisy. Gatsby has loved Daisy since the day they met but Gatsby had to go away and she couldnt wait forever. Gatsby couldnt get over Daisy, thats what brought him to this place.
