The life of David Gale Justice… What is justice anyway? At first, when you think about it, the first thing that comes to your mind is moral correctness based on law, ethics, religion and fairness . But is justice always satisfied? What people have to do to prove something? The Life of David Gale is a movie in which you can see what people are capable of doing just to prove their point. While watching the movie, I felt really angry, sad and in-between feelings. Angry, because I couldn’t believe people would do anything just to charge someone of doing something because they are seeking for revenge. By that, I refer to David’s student Berlin. However, I felt sad because David, who was innocent, lost his family, friends, job and everything that meant to him. In the end, I found myself in – between feelings. At first, ironically, I thought that he was wrongly accused and that he would die for nothing. But then, when the recording was played till the very end, soon I realized that everything was a set up just to show and prove that the government and the head of justice do not do their job properly enough.
