There has been an argument about whether or not it’s a person’s should be accountable for their actions in life or death situations. I believe that people shouldn’t be accountable for their actions. When people argue about this topic they tend to leave out examples on why their point of view is correct. In many situations people have to do things that they don’t do everyday. Well, being in life or death situations isn’t really a normal thing to be in for most people. For instance in the Life of Pi he had to kill fish in order to feed a tiger! I’m not saying if you are stranded with another person to kill the other person and eat them because you’re hungry because you can find another source of food. Two head are better than one. Like in the show Lost people sort of went berserk at one point even though they were working together at some point to help survive.Another example is again The Life of Pi because the tiger kills the hyena after the hyena kills the other animals. He just let the hyena do most of the work. I have to admit sometimes they should be accountable for what they do. Sometimes they do dumb things even though they know they're not supposed to since it might make the situation worse. If you think about if a person points a gun at you and your friend and your friend decides to make the shooter mad and make the situation worse, they’re not trying to help, they’re making it worse. People still shouldn’t be accountable for their actions for most situations. In like extreme life or death situations they might stress and panic and do stupid things to make a situation
