Lincoln has been around for 98 years and is known for its elegant cars. The company has come a long way from the beginning, yet still makes high-quality, award-winning vehicles. Lincoln is a company with many top-selling cars as well as several models planned for the future. So if you are wondering how Lincoln is doing, the answer is that the company is as strong as ever, and the future looks bright. History Lincoln got its start 98 years ago in Dearborn, Michigan. Henry Leland and his son Wilfred founded the company and named it after the great American president Abraham Lincoln. They were initially tasked with creating airplane engines for the World War I.
