From all the great things the president Abraham Lincoln has done, he should worth the name of hero. Like how he pushed for the 13th Amendment, an amendment that abolished slavery. From the movie Lincoln (2012 movie, directed by Steven Spielberg), showed how the wife of Lincoln is strongly against to pass the amendment, she thinks is a waste of his power to involved in the slavery. In fact, he done anything he could had done to pass this amendment. He would like to see the end of slavery. At first, he is talking to his wife about a dream he had recently : A dream that he is standing on top of the ship,sailing toward the sun. However, Mrs. Lincoln understand what he is trying to say to her, it is the 13thAmendment that he is trying to pass..
