Flashback to March 1, 1932, when a precious twenty month old baby boy is stolen from his parents. His dad was an aviation hero known as Charles Lindbergh II and him and his wife, Anne, are experiencing one of the most devastating things a parent could ever go through. The family had recently moved to a new mansion near Hopewell, New Jersey. This case happened a long time ago so no modern technology was used, obviously, but things most likely would've gotten solved a lot faster. The family received many ransom letters, which consistently lead them to the monster that stole their child from them. Handwriting analysis proved that Bruno Richard Hauptmann, was the kidnapper and murderer of Charles Lindbergh III. The Lindbergh family was just getting settled into their new home when the family nurse, Betty Gow, reported to Mr. and Mrs. Lindbergh that their baby was missing from his crib around ten o’clock on the night of March 1, 1932. Later investigation hinted that the Lindbergh’s baby had been missing since nine o’clock the same night (Lindbergh kidnapping). When Gow discovered the child was missing she also found a note in the crib, which the kidnapper demanded $50,000. The person who invaded the home used a ladder to get to the second story window where the child's room was. Which also indicated that the person had prior knowledge of where the nursery was located. The month that marked three years after Charles Lindbergh initially went missing was the month that his kidnapper and murder was supposed to get electrocuted.
