Lindsay Adler had an interest in photography at a young age all because her mother and grandmother’s hobbies were photography. She got published by a calendar company at the age of twelve and started a small portrait business at the age of fifteen. She started off by doing senior portraits for her friends in high school then their families hired her for bigger projects (family portraits and weddings). A couple of years later he decided to take a fashion photography class, which jump-started her career. She now does ad campaigns and fashion editorials and her work has been published in Marie Claire and InStyle and is the author of four books. Other than a photographer and author she is also a teacher and uses platforms such as creativeLIVE and YouTube to teach other photographers.

Urban coco is a fashion magazine and according to this issue the photos were produced to turn to black magic for inspiration because winter was approaching and dark nights were coming. Lindsay stated that she likes her photos to be extreme, meaning that she wants high-key photos or low-key photos or she wants smooth textures or a very high textured photo. She wanted the perception of the photo to be about the tones and the texture so she painted the model black and shot the image on a black background making it a low- key image. The only highlight in the image would be the pop in the jewelry along with the added red light. Overall, even though this wasn’t an advertisement shot and she wasn’t selling the jewelry pieces I think these would be a great set of images to help sell jewelry. With the main focus being the jewelry pieces in each photo and the pop or red light these sets of images make it seem cool and fashionable to wear jewelry. Or with the diamond piece of the glasses that could possibly be the way to design products or wear jewelry in the
