The band linkin park is from Agoura hills, California. But, they were formed in Los Angeles, California. Linkin Park spent six weeks on the top of Billboard Hot Modern Rock for the song numb. The members of the band are Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, John Hahn, and Chester Bennington. MTV2 named Linkin Park the sixth greatest band of the music video era. Linkin Park makes this song have a good catchiness, and the beginning has a good tempo. In the middle of the song the tempo really picks up, and it starts to have a faster type of tempo. They have teamed with many big artists such as Jay-Z and Steve Aoki to make great songs, mashups, and remixes. Numb is the thirteenth and final track on the album. In January, 2011 Numb was released in a DLC pack for rock band 3. The song spent three week on top of the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video for numb was set in St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic. This music video shows and follows the domestic and social problems faced during a daily life of an unpopular girl throughout the day. In the music video the girl spends a lot of her time drawing pictures which shows that the girl wants to be an artist one day. Numb is the longest running single in France, spending 23 weeks on that chart, peaking at number 19. As of 2014, the song Numb has sold 2,036,000 copies in the U.S.
