Lisa Messinger (50) is a philanthropist and past President of the Westchester Reform Temple, where she was also served as a board and executive committee member.

During her tenure as Westchester Reform’s president, she co-led a $20 million capital campaign, created programs for different age groups and developed new fundraising strategies, which significantly broadened its donor base.

Lisa has also served on the boards of several other non-profits including the Foundation for Summer Camps and URJ Eisner & Crane Lake Camps, where she was also its chair. He was ordained by HUC-JIR in 1991, and like Lisa he is a former Wexner Fellow. Aaron is also a licensed pilot and ASA (American Sailing Association) certified sailor. Aaron and Lisa live in Mamaroneck and have two children-Samantha and Eli.

Lisa and Aaron are sporadic AJWS donors, who’ve made seven gifts since 2005, the largest of which was $1,000, for the 30th Anniversary Gala. The rest of their gifts have been in the $100-$500 range.

Lisa is also a director of the Messinger Family Foundation, (its other directors are her sister Sarah and her father).
