While reading this I felt the suspension and intensity of the story building. It made me think deeper about Josef and his past. How could someone that seems so nice be something so evil at one point? Everyone has had dark time in there life, but can someone so evil completely and fully become a better person? I wonder what happened in Josef’s past to make him so brain washed to the point where he believed that being a Nazi soldier was something he should do. These thoughts along with others couldn’t escape my mind as I was reading this. This quote also acts as a lesson. People aren’t always the way they seem.
