The Little Rock Nine was a group of black students who enrolled at formerly all-white central high school in Little Rock, Arkansas in September 1957. I picked some of the most important events to show how important the civil rights movement was/is. Three people that were a part of the civil rights movement were Aretha Franklin, Mary J.
