By doing that, we can recognize how to them logging an area of land might not be the worst thing if it gives them a better opportunity in life and it is the only opportunity available to them.

The loggers have been in the rainforest since the 1960s and have ever since taken advantage of its resources. The history of the amazonian loggers are not elaborated on but it can be concluded that their history has been filled with conflicts between other dwelling companies of people in the rainforest. The environmentalists and the loggers are the two main groups that dispute with one another. Environmentalists have stated that preserving the biodiversity of the rainforest in greater than the business loggers have built up. Loggers argue that what they do for the country including helping agriculture, employment, urbanization, and debt is imperative. Farmers use the deforested area of the rainforest to feed their cattle. The meat produced from the cattle is then sold to other countries. Employment is helped because loggers create jobs for people willing to cut down trees and people also willing to work in processing factories. New housing is also available because of loggers. The clear cut down fields provide living areas for people that cannot fit in other parts of Brazil and have nowhere else to go. The actions of loggers also help to control the debt of Brazil to other countries. By getting money from selling wood, Brazil is able to pay sums of money owed to other countries. Some people argue that loggers are going to fully destroy the forest but I believe the best way to prevent that is to try and limit the unsustainable logging in the forest.
