In my high school career, I have been honored to attend certain events and to be able to feel rewarded for striking a deal for my company. I’m the chief operating officer (COO) for my company Lokal Events, who in which is a marketing company. Building this company from nothing with my team members have been a key reason why I choose the major of Business Marketing. The following reasons are some of my most treasured and recent achievements. Towards the end of my junior year, Lokal Events entered a competition with sixteen other companies, with a chance of only five winning companies to get a fully paid ride to attend Lassonde Studios Institution inside University of Utah. Being able to make the top three has helped me realize how much I love being surrounded by the business field and the atmosphere. It was around this time I had gained the interest in business and wanted to find my specific major. I became exceedingly engaged with marketing from reaching out to other local businesses, creating content for our social media post, creating content for my clients, running social media campaigns for other companies, etc. With this hard work and dedication I put into the company we were able to have other accomplishments along the way such as acquiring five partnership some of which being The Ronald Mcdonald House of Charities, Bellport Branding, and 59 Days of Code. One of our partnerships has become our client who happens to be the Superintendent of Schools in the Central Valley. This deal for sure proved to me that I truly wanted to major in business marketing because I proved to myself that with all the dedication I put into this it felt rewarding to receive such a client as big as
