_Lolita_: too good, still too wordy. Crazy unreliable and laugh-out-loud funny. I'll definitely bring it up in my paper since it’s a major classic. It got me thinking about why humor is not in full bloom in academia. 1. Humor is very subjective, yes. 2. Even if one finds a story funny, that aspect is certainly put on the back burner or not mentioned due to the stigma of sounding "intelligent," which is rather funny in itself and a whole other issue.
