I believe that Grant is a hero because he helps Jefferson become a man, changes himself for the better, and wants to continue changing the community. Over the course of the novel, Grant helps Jefferson become the man that he needs to be in order to walk to his death with honor. I learned more over the course of two weeks at the AAFA than I have ever before. The amount of proficiency that I have gained in international trade, manufacturing, and legislation on the hill is stupendous.

Utilitarianism ethics mainly decides if a decision is ethical based on if it helps the majority over the individual. It is essentially “the greatest good for the greatest number”. It also states that an action is decidedly right or wrong depending on its consequences. The people who oppose the building of tailing dams argue that the building of these dams is unethical based on the idea that it will not benefit the greatest number of people.
