I have had, and continue to have, many mentors and supporters throughout my life, which is why I feel it is my responsibility to live a life a service- to be able to give back as much as I have been given and more. One of my biggest supporters is my mother. Her support and conviction about the worth of obtaining an education has shaped my beliefs, values and aspiration to continue higher education and use my career in a progressive way to give back to my community. I hope that through my career, I am able to become a role model for them and show them how an effective education can be used to overcome challenges and propel them to be successful. I believe that by building a sense of community, we can all succeed
