The last two years have been an incredible experience for me. Personally, the feeling of achieving my dream of becoming a Longhorn and being part of the institution I admire the most is exhilarating.
First of all, my understanding of the overall interaction between finance, marketing, sales, and operations gives me a wider perspective of what we are trying to achieve as a company. As a result, I know which information is important to harvest, compile, and disseminate in order to provide quality data to our decision makers. With this, our Latin American market now has better business analytics, and we are able to allocate resources more efficiently than ever before.

Furthermore, I could deliver a presentation without truly understanding our value proposition. Today, I can speak fluently to CFOs and explain how our product makes sense for their business model and how to increase their efficiency.
Fourth, what brought me the most satisfaction of all, was the way I was able to put these learnings into practice thanks to the managerial support. As a result, I had the amazing opportunity to see how all this knowledge gets put into action and to monitor the transformation from a proposal all the way into the results.
Nevertheless, now that I have a Master’s degree, I’m able to focus all of my time on obtaining my professional engineering licensure in the state of Texas.
