He was inspired by George Washington Carver. Little did Lonnie Johnson know that just that little inspiration would change his life and make him one of the most famous inventors to date. The Super Soaker was one of many accomplishments Lonnie Johnson has gotten, but it was his main accomplishment. Lonnie Johnson is an amazing inventor! In 2000, Lonnie Johnson was put into the Inventors Hall of Fame for his invention, the Super Soaker. Afterwards, Lonnie Johnson then married Linda Moore (his wife). Lonnie Johnson is still alive today. Currently, Lonnie Johnson is 75 years old and is still seen as one of the best inventors. Lonnie Johnson may be important, but so is his family. Airline Johnson was a nurse and helped with other services similar to a nurse, in which she also picked cotton from the same field that Lonnie Johnson's grandfather owned.
