My love for animals grew at a very young age, and it has always been my ambition to build my life around helping them. My dedication to animal welfare has given me a wealth of experiences. The opportunity to participate in Loop Abroad would allow me to indulge my love of helping animals, gaining new skills, meeting new people, and learning about a new culture. My expertise with animals extends to working with abused animals, volunteering at my local pet store, caring for horses at Taylor Brooks Equestrian, and working on environmental projects as a Specialist High Skills Major. ?????? connecting sentence. The challenges that derive from the hard work of animal care inspires me to take charge and work through difficult situations. These characteristics were apparent when I worked with unnerved or dangerous animals at a rescue centre in the Adirondacks. I love learning by doing and am eager to improve my skills. Over the year I've tried to gain as many new skills as possible. ?????So far I have been certified in Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED., ORCKA solo canoe, Management and Leadership, Level One Ski Instructor, and a Babysitting. The new practices that this program offers will enhance my capabilities to build my confidence and give me the knowledge I need to take control of a variety of situations.
