The piece I have chosen to make orients around the theme of loss of innocence in frankenstein and injustice. Loss of innocence in a way of showing that the creature at the beginning, originally had good intentions. The social injustices within society just showed within the story that many are punished for crimes that they did not commit. The creature is affected by the social injustices in society based on the way he looks as to the people, he is “ hideous” and is one that deserves to be isolated and excluded from society as he is one to not fit in. The creature deeply holds onto the feeling of victor being his creator, and that he has a duty to take care of him. Just like the Biblical allusion of the creature as a figure of Adam, created …show more content…

Throughout the Novel, Mary Shelley creates a mirroring effect between the two characters: Victor Frakenstein and the Creature. They both have an intense thirst for knowledge and wanting to know about the real world as they both find a way to seek revenge on one another. Or the domination of one over the other by calling the other person a slave, just like the creature did to Frakenstein as he holds all power since he has abilities no other human would have. Putting him in isolation and distress. The creature feels like he has absolute power over vicor, taking away the kind of love that he has because the creature did not receive it. The Monster shows himself being covered in blood, the ones of his victims and looking into a Victorian style mirror that is showing victor screaming. With all the guilt, remorse and sadness Victor has for losing everyone he cared about and loved. He realizes he is like the monster now, they are a perfect mirror of each other and a perfect representation of each feeling of sadness inside. As both Victor and Frakenstein had hated each other and had wanted to gain revenge, making Victor feel everything that he had once felt. The creature had killed Victor’s wife soon after his wedding, own brother due to being lonely and started to become a killer due to the impacts of society and Victor. His creators refused and people were frightened by how he had looked. The revenge in which Victor gives is by not accepting the creature’s orders, eventually into the fate of his own life.
