Resilience is a trait few people know and few people possess. Resilience is the ability to cope with problems and setbacks. It can be developed from a tragic event that happened in one’s life or a series of events that would break down someone without the trait. Resilience is a trait possessed by people who have encountered life changing events. These 3 people Louis Zamperini, Phil, and mac. One key characteristic of resilience, as provided by Kendra Cherry, is Awareness that represents louis Zamperini perfectly through his life, his time at sea, and the people he lost.

Louis Zamperini represents the character trait resilience quite well in his early years. As a child, he was constantly on the go and causing trouble. Louis grew up in a town named Torrance, California. By wreaking havoc on the town, he developed resilience.
