Louisa May Alcott an american novelist well known for being the auther of the classic novel 'Little Women' and its sequel Little men and Jo's boys which remain popular today. Born November 29, 1832 in Germantown, Pennsyvania. She was raised in a family of five being the second oldest out of her sistsers Abigail May Alcott Nierker, Anna Alcott Pratt, and Elizabeth Sewell Alcott. Alcotts' mother was a strong Christian and a women's wright's activist. Amos Bronson Alcott, her father was an American teacher, writer, philosipher, and reformer. He played a big part in what Louisa is known for to this day.
