Teenagers need to have love and support. Teens need something solid to stand on. Love and support are necessary because teens need someone by their side to give them those little boosts that help them through their early lives. Teens need to be supported and loved so they grow up being a nice and friendly person. Teens also need limits to help guide them throughout their early lives, if their parents dont, teens can end up like bob. Give teens all the support and love they need throughout their early lives. First of all, in the novel, The Outsiders by S.E Hinton, Dally needs love and support, but doesn’t get any from his parents. Dally doesn’t care about life and has a bad-boy look to him wherever he goes(Ch.1). Dally’s parents wouldn't care if he was dead or alive. Dally only gets love and support from the gang. Dally has been in jail many times. Dally only really cared about Johnny in his life(Ch. 9-10). He doesn’t use his head in most situations, so he needs support(Ch.1). In school Pony uses his head to get good grades(Ch.1). Also Pony doesn’t use his head, if he did he wouldn’t have fallen asleep in the lot and that caused he to miss curfew, and later cause him to slapped by Darry, his oldest brother He needs support and love from Darry, Sodapop, and the gang so he can take the loss of Johnny better and in certain situations he can use his head better. He needs love from Darry so he won’t get slapped or disrespected again. Also, when Darry and Sodapop came to visit Ponyboy and Johnny in the hospital, Darry started crying when he saw Ponyboy.
