Although you might not know it, there is always someone that loves you. Love is the expression of someone liking someone by their inside. In the book “ Frankenstein” retold by Mary Shelley, she expresses tragical love of both the monster and Victor’s life. the love in this book is symbolized by all the letters sent to Victor. Last but not least, people should love what they already have and not ask for more. Obsession leads to wanting more, which eventually leads to consequences. Love is shown by the action of a person, not by what they look like. In the book, everyone hates the monster because they do not know the true him. to show that true love is is liking someone’s true heart, the blind man says something that made the monster’s day. Although the monster knows that he is not wanted anywhere, he still tries his best to not hurt anyone because he loves them. He knows that it is better to have a good heart than have everything his way, he says “all my dreams came true when he said I sounded like I had a pure, good heart.” (shelley page93)This coming out from the blind man’s mouth, proves that he is loved by who he is on the inside and the hatred is only for his looks. …show more content…

It tells about how the family is doing and how much they miss him. People miss someone when their loved one is not with them. Although Frankenstein does not read the letters for a season, his family keeps on sending him more and does not give up on him. Henry also loves his family, as he was growing up they treated him as a family member.
