Through time, people have been getting confused about love and how it really works. Like when a girl has feelings for the guy it is completely different from when a guy has feelings for a girl. While love is a waste because love is hard to understand, mainly when a guy likes a girl and the girl is leading the guy on but ends not liking the guy, love is super confusing to everyone, and a person will never know when another person of the opposite gender actually likes them. Love does not make any sense. Mainly because girls are confusing when it comes to love. Which is true on every level you think of love. Love is one of those things where you think someone likes you, but when you tell them your feelings that you might they just say, "sorry I do not feel the same way" then you get friend zoned. Some of the time relationships will not happen for some people, and they end up living all by themselves in a house meant for five people. Not everyone will have a boyfriend or a girlfriend in high school or college, but do not let that decide who you are, because a boyfriend or a girlfriend are just wasting your time in high school. People need to get their priorities straight. Relationships are a waste of time during high school. I have tried way too many times. I have wasted my time, love is really complicated, to begin with. This poem would be nice if love actually worked all the time for most people, but it does not. In the poem, it says, "I love thee freely" I feel like love is a trap. Love is waiting there to trap, torture you for a bit. People are so hurt when leaving a relationship. Why do people do that to themselves? Why do people put themselves through such hardship to get into something that will only last a few weeks to a few months? Most people are lucky to make it to at least a year in their relationship.
