“Consider it handled” by Lucia Gutierrez In Washington she is known as a fixer. Every morning when she enters her office, her gladiators are waiting for her. They have their client’s information ready, some photos are on the windows and her hot coffee is on the table. When she opens the door, her client is with her and she begins her investigation. She is called Olivia Pope, the woman that helps all her clients, by hiding their real truth from the public eye. She knows everyone’s secrets, including United States President, Fitzgerald Grant. Both of them have a special trait that makes them part of the “Literary Hall of Fame”, this trait is their observation. They use this power every time they solve a crime or fix a client’s mistake. However, these powers of observation would be worth nothing without their excellent reasoning and deduction skills. Olivia and Sherlock have these traits, because by observing they see things nobody else can and with their deduction abilities they can join some dots and make inferences about the person or crime they are investigating.

Olivia has a group of gladiators that help her solve the enigmas her clients have. Her detailed observation is the one that lets her know what should be done in each of her cases. During the fourth season of Scandal, Olivia was kidnapped and her observation was key for her survival. During her captivity, she was only allowed to go to the bathroom twice a day. In the bathroom she saw there was a small window, near the ceiling. One day, she thought of a way of escaping using her bra’s wire and turning that into a key.
