Lucille Ball was born on August 6, 1911 in Jamestown, New York to Henry Durrell and Desirre Hunt Ball. Arnaz (Desi) met Lucille the first time when she was in makeup after performing a fight scene. He did not think she was pretty until they met later that day and she was dressed in nice clothes then he thought she was attractive. Arnaz and Lucille had many differences but that did not stop them from falling in love.
