When we think of heroes first ones to come to mind are fictional characters; Superman, Batman, Spider-Man. These characters are great and their producers have made a lot of money off of them, but true heroes impact lives and put others before themselves. They are willing to sacrifice their social life, family time, and even money to make a positive impact on your life and influence you to strive for excellence and reach your desired goal. These are all things my hero, Marquita Adley has done for me. Marquita Adley, nicknamed Coach Q, has been my basketball coach since 6th grade.
My second nominee is; Nellie Mcclung. "She was spirited, she was amazing, she was effective," afew commonly used words to describe Nellie McClung. She was a female activist, One of Nellie 's best influences was her mom. Her family 's influence was not a doubt the reason she became an activist. Her mom thought that every child had the right to an education, and her hole family encouraged her to learn all she could.
Her accomplishments make everyone want to work hard and be the best they can(Stenson, T. 2015). Personally Carli Lloyd has been a hero to me. She has been a great person to look up to and it is good to watch her play. She has affected many soccer players around the world and has been a very good influence(Hayes, G.2015). Additionally she has taken the time out of her day to go around the U.S. talking to kids and giving powerful speeches.
Do they share anything in common? When a mother is doing ordinary things for her child she is called a hero for her child. When a athlete is called a hero from someone else’s point of view it is because that person looks up to them and they have achieved many things and when you look up to someone they

To me, Irena Sendler is the perfect role model. For starters, Sendler always did what she knew was right. She knew that race and religion had nothing to do with the treatment a person deserved. “If someone is drowning, you have to give them your hand. When the war started, all of Poland was drowning in a sea of blood, and those who were drowning the most were the Jews.
" In 2004, she and teammate Michelle Akers were named on FIFA 's list of the "125 Greatest Living Soccer Players"—becoming the only women and only Americans to be named to the list at that time" (Mia Hamm Biography). Mia Hamm is admirable because she proved to all that dreams aren 't impossible and are really closer then you might realize. All of the achievements Mia Hamm had sub stained along the way shaped her as the women she has become today, but she didn 't care about the records, just loved being

Pioneer War Nurse Clara Barton began as a school teacher and later became a War Heroine. She has been an important influence on my life because she managed to earn equal pay (with her male coworkers) and enter battlefields inspite of her inability to vote. She her nursed her brother back to health, and began teaching at the age of 15. Clara Barton was a shy person yet she accomplished so much. She encourages me to be the best version of me.
The obstacles that Douglass and Malala had to overcome are what inspired me. They inspired me because despite all the dangers, they continued to fight for their own education and others education and eventually became voices of many others. I can relate a little bit to each of their story because also pushed through some struggles, when it came to applying to college. Those struggles are the reason why I became inspired to help undocumented students like myself.
Bob Marley. Bob Marley, not only was he one of the best artist around the world, but he changed and inspired people. He had an ever-lengthening list of accomplishments attributable to his music, he agitated for social change, while at the same time allowing listeners to forget their troubles and dance. Spreading “positive vibrations” from Sierra Leone to Manhattan. The Way Bob Marley inspired people was incredible, he managed to put people's hopes up and put a smile on each individual.
The person I chose to write about is Jackie Robinson. Not only was Jackie Robinson an important person in California, but he also played an important role in shaping our United States. He broke the color barrier in baseball and became a civil rights leader. He had helped pave the way for people like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Growing up; Robinson attended John Muir High School and Pasadena Junior College. As mentioned on page 346 by Rolle and Verge in California: A History; 7th edition, “Jackie Robinson began his baseball career at Pasadena Junior College.
Alex Morgan is not only an inspiration on the field but also off the field. She was the youngest women to make it onto the Women's Soccer National team. She was an overall fantastic player. She was a great team leader no matter the situation she was put in.
