Immediately after graduating from Riverdale High School in 2009, I started my undergraduate career at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Upon entrance to MTSU, I believed that my career path was in the field of pharmacy. I envisioned graduating from MTSU after only four years and would be directly on to pharmacy school thereafter. Towards the middle of the first semester, I quickly realized that this would not be the career path for me. I cut back on my course load and worked diligently to finish the semester. I finished the semester with a grade point average that I did not find acceptable for me. The next few years at MTSU were challenging, to say the least. I am proud to say that I took a little longer than average to complete my undergraduate degree. By taking a wide range of courses, I was able to obtain more from my experience and continue to further my knowledge in many areas throughout the undergraduate program. Which in turn, makes me well equipped to start my graduate career with Bethel University. Davis LR, 2 After graduation, I continued to work two different jobs. One being at a bank and the other at our local supermarket, I knew that I did not want to make either of these a long-term career. In April 2015, I was offered a position with our local government at the Circuit Court Clerks office. As I eagerly accepted the position and got started in my new career, my love for learning about the judicial system had only begun. I am interested in expanding my knowledge in the field of criminal justice.
