Bravery vs. Guilt Shakespeare portrays Macbeth as having many character traits throughout the acts of The Tragedy of Macbeth. Macbeth is very brave and ambitious in completeing tasks that he is faces with, but also becomes weak and full of guilt at times throughout the acts of the play. Macbeth’s most admirable chatacterisitc is most definitely the bravery he carries. Bravery refers to courageous behaviors, or characters. Macbeth portrayed bravery in many instances. For examples, in Act 1, Macbeth is known for his bravery after fighting for his country and taking a chance to die for King Duncan. Duncan then rewards Macbeth with the title of Thane of Cawdor.
