Background:
Williams Shakespeare is known as one of the best playwrights of all time. Shakespeare was born in the year of 1564. His parents were John Shakespeare, and Mary Arden. His father was a leather maker and his mother was a land heiress. Although his parents were in the middle-class he received no formal education. On November 28, 1582 Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway. Together the two had three children. However, one had died from unknown causes.

Macbeth was Shakespeare's shortest work. However, it is one of his bloodiest plays. It was written in 1606 early 1607. It was the last play Shakespeare produced. The play has over 100 references to bloodshed and death. It is rifled with tragedy, horror, and death. It …show more content…

He wants to believe the witches prophecies ( Act 1; Scene 2; lines 48-50). Macbeth was seen as a fair, and honorable man that wishes to do no wrong. His wife has called him weak because he does not want to do actions against Duncan ( Act 1; Scene 7; Lines 47-59).
Lady Macbeth: Lady Macbeth is seen as a slender, long haired woman who cares for her husband. However, her desire to make her husband king drives her mad. She believes that a little water can clear her and her husband of their deeds (ACT 1: Scene 2; Lines 61-65). Although they wish not to think of it it soon drives her mad. This is seen when a doctor and a gentlewoman see her( Act 5; Scene 1; Lines 3-6).

ACT II

Macbeth has grown weary of how he should proceed. He soon decides what he should do. He must kill Duncan in order to get the crown. Now he has the crown and is being threatened. Banque has grown fearsome for what has happened. The witches prophecies have come true. He now fears what may happen to him. He and Fleance have fled the castle in fear of their lives. Macbeth now being king sees Banquo and Fleance as a threat to his crown. And so orders to have the two of them killed in order to protect his crown.

Macbeth has just killed Duncan. Here he asks if his wife had heard anything. If so he may be caught. However, she just heard the owl hoot in the night.

ACT III

Banque has been killed while Fleance escaped. Banques murder has been place on Fleance. However, both of them had suspected Macbeth of the original murder. Now Macduff has fled to England to escape Macbeth's reach. But, upon hearing this Macbeth orders that all of Macduff's family and servants are to be killed.
