In a utopian world everyone would get along and things would be easy. This is not that world, and it never will be. The world we live in in is one of death, destruction, and chaos, sometimes. The reality is we face violence that we indirectly inflict on ourselves. “that we but teach bloody instructions which, being taught, return to plague th'inventor: this even handed justice commends the ingredients of our own poisoned chalice to our own lips” (SparkNotes 1.7.8-12). This line in Macbeth is a perfect encapsulation of how the act of violence create more violence in a never-ending cycle.

Arguing the point of whether violent video games cause violent behavior is pointless.
