Scenario overview MacIT Store is our stationary shop’s name. Our store is located near Macquarie University (North Ryde Campus). Our potential customers are students and staff here at Macquarie. For now, our start-up team has 5 members: Minh, Daniel, Jenny, Anh and Teddy. And as every startupers, we are faced with 4 main problems: 1. Labour shortage As a new shop, MacIT Store is in need of a number of workers to do a variety of tasks (including Shelves Filling, Checkouts, Sale Assistant and so on) 2. Start-up Cost Every startup has to deal with this. That’s why we also have to optimize investment on MacIT Store. 3. We are going to print QR Codes on flyers and posters which link directly to our contact information and web pages These flyers and posters will be spread around the campus and will be put onto MacIT Store’s doors as well as products This QR code will also be sent via social networks like Facebook, Wechat and Instagram for people to scan Advantages • Contain a huge information in a limited space. We are able to add our store’s website, phone number, email, addresses and location • For customer They can access to more information about company’s details directly and quickly from their mobile phone. • Giving businesses a competitive edge by driving traffic to our website • Track how many times, how many people scan the QR code in order for statistical purposes. Disadvantages The biggest problem of QR code is nothing more than the fact that QR Code is bound by a scanner, whether it is a specific device or an app on mobile phone (EstateQRcodes 2015). This is, of course, a huge barrier for businesses who implement QR Code onto their products.
