Macy's Black History Month

The stock that I have been watching most closely in my time playing the stock market game is Macy’s, ticker being, M. In February I was instructed to closely monitor this company and now I am going to report on my findings in its growth or decline.

Financial Information
In my last paper I wrote for Macy’s I had maintained very high hopes for the large, aging retailer. I am glad to say that Macy’s has surpassed my goals and is now up a fabulous 86%! Seeing the popularity for Macy’s continue to climb in the world of upscale retail I have nothing but high hopes for this business leader.

This month, being one of our great countries most celebrated months, Black History Month. And Macy’s has certainly embraced this time by offering many exciting events at their stores nation- wide. Fashion shows highlighting the 60’s through 70’s highlighting their major fashion triumphs and inclination of black women in the fashion world. These fashion shows will give us today a real look into the style of the times and the undeniable effect they still have on our wardrobe today. Google is a stock that will always be changing due to the mass growth and changes in the internet user’s world. Though I do believe that Google was a good stock to buy for quick cash, I do not recommend it for the more prudent investor.
