Abstract The integration of technology in dementia care has the potential to transform care delivery, enhancing the quality of life (QOL) for residents and supporting caregivers in providing personalized, effective care. This study explores the impact of the Magic Table 360, an interactive projector offering sensory and cognitive stimulation, on the QOL of residents with dementia in UK care homes. By engaging caregivers in structured activities through this technology, the study aims to assess improvements in residents. cognitive, emotional, and social well-being and the tool?s influence on caregiving practices, including job satisfaction and communication effectiveness. Secondly, the use of technology raises questions about privacy protection and informed consent. This holistic approach underscores that while technology can be transformative, it must be sensitively integrated into the care environment. It should also be noted, as discussed in my thesis, that the benefits of technology cannot replace the primary, personal relationships that are part of humanity?s legacy(Vrancic, et al., 2024).
