INTRODUCTION: This case involves an unknown male, Hispanic gaining enter into the MailBox building located at 530 S. Lake Ave. Once inside the business, the suspect stole approximately 8 packages that were left on the ground. The suspect left the scene traveling north on Lake Ave. LOCATION DESCRIPTION: The incident occurred at 530 S. Lake Ave. (MailBox Planet). MailBox Planet is a privately owned Post Office and has a front door that faces west. Lake Ave. I could see that the suspect was walking back and forth, checking to see if there was anyone around. The suspect stepped out of view of the camera and placed his skateboard, black backpack, and red shoe box down. The suspect approached the front door with his cell phone in one hand and a metal object in the other hand. The suspect used the metal object to manipulate the door lock to open the door. Once inside of the business, the suspect entered the mailbox area. I could see that there was a gate that was closed, which separated the mailbox area from the main office. I saw there were approximately 10-12 packages left on the ground in the mailbox area. The suspect placed his hood over his head and began walking around the mailbox area. The suspect approached several packages and used his pocket knife to open them. The suspect removed items from its packaging. The suspect left the grabbed approximately 4-5 packages from the ground and left the scene with the items he removed from its packaging. The suspect was last seen traveling on foot north on Lake
