Major characters Ralph: He was not the oldest one of them but was the most liked out of them so he won the election to see who is the leader. Roger- He is one of the smallest boys and enjoyed killing piggy and many pigs. He killed Piggy with a rock and repeatedly banged him with it at the new part of the island. He also tortured pigs that he hunted. Piggy- He is a fat boy and dosnt do work on the island as much as others do. He is very smart and they use his glasses to start the fire that they try using for their escape. He constantly had ood ideas on how to do things but wasn't very good at talking to the rest of the biys. 7. Summary of the plot: There is a plane with a lot of kids on it and it crashes on an island. Only the kids survive the crash and are forced to try surviving on this island. They find a trumpet on the beach and used it to gather everyone together. They have an election to see who gets leader and Ralph win because everyone liked him. He wasn't one of the older children so Jack was mad. Ralph is the first to discover that they are alone on an island. He also finds out that there are pigs to hunt.
