In healthcare it is important to know about the different major religious beliefs. The three religions that I picked were buddhism , Hinduism, and Lutheran (christians). I will be talking about the different origin that I have picked. I was also be talking about their beliefs, traditions, dominate culture , percentage and specific health care. Buddhism- Buddhism is consider dangers but it arose to suffering. Where the danger part might come in about Buddhism is the flooding and earthquakes .One of their religions are that people are reborn after they die. The Hindu worship consist of images, prayers, and diagrams of the universe. People who believe in Hinduism can worship at the temple. Hindu worship is mainly a individual effort. A person will repeat the name of a god or goddess of their choice, and repeat mantras. Water, fruit, and flowers are offered to the god. Hindus believe in the continuation of existing with the same soul passing through many different life forms. Hinduism mainly exist in India and Nepal, but it does not stop there..Hinduism have 900 million other followers worldwide! One of the very, very many traditions is the Diwali Festival which is considered a Holy Day. This tradition usually falls in October or November. Lutheran beliefs are expressed in many historical Lutheran confessions, most of which were by Luther himself or early Lutheran leaders. These confessions have been collected into the Book of Concord. They confess the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They also confess Jesus Christ as the lord and savior. They practice infant baptism, and the baptism belief in adults.
