Unfortunately, I have not held any offices in the organizations above yet but I sure intend to. However, I have been a leader and mentor in many of the organizations. The National Society of Leadership and Success has taught me how to be an effective leader throughout my time here at Columbus State University. Clinical Leadership Paper Position and Role of Leader Joni Dekok is the chief nursing officer of Sanford Sheldon Medical Center. She is the leader of two nurse managers as well as the entire staff of nurses. She is an important member of the nursing team within the hospital and is also a vital member to the executive team at the hospital. She works with the hospital’s administration team, financial team, and CEO to make decisions regarding how the hospital is run. She helps make important decisions and uses her unique view as a nurse leader to help guide other managers and leaders at the hospital.

Transformational Leadership in Nursing Introduction Transformational Leadership is the moral ability of a person to make sound judgment and wise decision to influence and inspire others to perform the best outcome even in the critical situation. It is the ability to guide others not just in words, but also by example. Nurses are able to cultivate trust and harmony and establish good relationship with their patients and co-workers through effective and constant communication and intervention. They respond to the basic needs and expectation (Rousel, 2011), they set aside their personal interest for the benefit of their patients and the organization.
